Comfort, Comfort My People Says Your God
Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,
and cry to her
that her warfare is ended,
that her iniquity is pardoned,
that she has received from the Lord's hand
double for all her sins.(Isaiah 40:1-2)
Today we reflect on the Cross of Christ and the comfort which Christ's sacrifice for our sins has brought to us today, and when we face eternity.
"And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
